Product Description

Closed counterflow cooling tower features reverse closed heat exchange with high efficiency. The coil isolates cooling medium from air to prevent scaling and water pollution, realizing water saving and ultra-low water drift. FRP or stainless steel shell optional, supporting dry & wet anti-freeze operation with variable frequency intelligent temperature control. Compact structure occupies small space, available for rooftop, workshop and ground installation. Widely used in HVAC of malls & hotels, data centers, power, metallurgy, petrochemical, rubber plastic, new energy battery and beverage processing industries. Customized sizes and capacities available with stable export-grade quality.

Working Principle

A closed circuit cooling tower is essentially a combination of an evaporative cooler and a wet cooling tower. Adopting a horizontal structure, it allows process fluid to flow inside the tubes while air circulates outside, with the two media kept completely separated. It is an upgraded and improved version of traditional cooling towers.
Water from the reservoir at the tower bottom is pumped and evenly sprayed over the exterior of the heat exchange tubes. Since the process fluid such as hot water or refrigerant never comes into direct contact with outside air, it forms a fully closed circulating system. The sprayed water greatly enhances heat and mass transfer efficiency to achieve the desired cooling effect.
